It will be greatly beneficial for you to stay and participate in the fun with your child. They look to you as an example. If you are following instructions and moving with the music, they are more likely to do the same.
There is a lounge area for parents whose children may tend to let loose more when Mommy's not watching.
Children do not need a reason to move, but they do need opportunities to explore the amazing gift of motion God has given to all of us. You can build your child's confidence and self-esteem by providing them with experiences that foster success, especially in the motor domain.
Play is so important in the life and development of young children. They learn about their world through play. They must learn to move and they must move to learn.
They not only need motion and play, but also social interaction and cooperative tasks to develop the communicative skills they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
But I Have A Boy...

It is the desire and intention of Creative Co-Motion to provide a safe, Christian-based environment in which your child will learn to move his/her body, enjoy and appreciate varying styles of music, cooperate with others their age and with adults, learn the value of persistence and feel a sense of accomplishment as they acquire new skills in their pursuit of the mastery of motion.
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Dance specializing in educating children. I have been in dance classes since age eleven and have been teaching since age sixteen. My greatest passion is to use dance as a form of worship and to introduce others to the gift of movement God has given all of us. Beyond being a trained educator, I am excited by learning and by teaching. I enjoy not only the results but also the process of dance education.
